Once RCI receives a project award for a specific client, the management team of RCI creates a focus area out of RCI's technical resource pool specific to that client. This focus area is maintained throughout the duration of the project so that RCI is able to respond in a timely manner to all the projects for that client.
Once RCI receives a project from a specific client - A dedicated and seasoned Program Manager is assigned to that project who directly works with the Project Manager appointed by the client for that project in identifying the specific project needs and arrange for the technical resources as per the agreed upon schedule.
Each program manager is responsible for the overall project administration and implementation. The PMO creates weekly reports on project parameters and submit them to the VP of Projects at RCI.
RCI - Projects office works directly with the client Project Manager and provides all required performance monitoring reports as required under the terms and conditions of the project award and attend all status meetings.
RCI has a two tier approach which dedicates a specific project to one key Program Manager and a secondary Program Manager as a shadow. The first program manager has the executive role of ensuring overall client satisfaction while the secondary program managers act as internal resources who are trained and have familiarity with the client requisitions, culture, environment and strategic skills necessary to step in when necessary for example if the first Program Manager is not available due to planned or unplanned absence, RCI's secondary Program Manager would take over responsibility.
RCI believes in succession planning which is why we dedicate additional resources to each project to help manage, grow our project management team while providing the quality of service our customers demand. Should there be an unexpected management turnover RCI will bear the full responsibility of assigning a suitable replacement with the same level of qualifications. Also, it is common practice that our key program manager team together with secondary program managers on marketing calls to provide training and account knowledge transfer and information.
RCI believes the vital key to a successful relationship with our clients is identifying and hiring the best talent available. The Program Manager ensures customer satisfaction, resource delivery and problem resolution on a daily basis. Our business model and cost factor budget exceeds the regional providers offering in the markets we serve.
RCI's experience has been successful with our current staff due to our selective screening and on-boarding process. The program manager is expected to have a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience. In addition to this expectation, there must be a proven track record of successes and past performance. We follow the same guidelines of our stringent process of qualifying and screening as we do for our consultants.
RCI's Project Management ability is well established over many years and our accelerated level of service and overall client attention that is the heart of RCI's core competencies.
The Program Manager plays a critical role in building the relationship with our client. RCI is a service provider that firmly believes that our success and growth are a result of our stability, integrity, and adherence to our Code of Ethics, which is the foundation of all our business partnerships. We are committed to providing the best IT staffing solutions to both our clients and the IT professionals we represent.
One of the main values in this ongoing monitoring approach to ensuring the continued quality of the placement is the opportunity of identifying and resolving potential issues before they actually manifest themselves.
When the client articulates specific concerns they are immediately addressed with an appropriate resolution that meets with the client's expectations. This resolution and follow through are primarily the responsibility of the program manager for the client. However, there may be issues which are outside the scope of these responsibilities, for example HR issues. RCI maintains a formal escalation process to ensure that the client is aware of the appropriate avenues available to it for problem resolution.
During the first week of an assignment, the RCI program manager responsible for a particular project confers with both the RCI consultant and the client manager to ensure that the assignment has started successfully; next we identify and resolve any issues that might later interfere with the successful completion of the assignment.
During the term of an assignment the RCI program manager meets with all consultants and managers at least once every two to four weeks. We seek ongoing feedback so that any problems that arise are addressed early to ensure the continuity of the placement. As deemed necessary, we address any issues regarding: attitude, punctuality, personnel and technical issues. Throughout the assignment the program manager looks to build alignments and team spirit with our consultants by recognizing listening to their feedback/experience, recognizing birthdays, providing awards for outstanding achievement and attends work functions.
